Robert Kubica will make a remarkable return to Formula 1 next year with the Williams Team. Eight Years after a near fatal WRC crash in which his right arm was partially severed, he will partner Britain's George Russell in the 2019 Grand Prix.

Funding from Poland to the tune of 10m euros has no doubt helped his cause, but as a past Grand Prix winner he fully deserves this come-back chance. No doubt his physical condition will improve when he is racing full time and it would be great to see him contribute to an upswing in the Williams teams' fortunes.
